EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER - THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION - CD

 Emerson, Lake & Palmer, noti anche con la sigla ELP, sono stati un gruppo musicale britannico di rock progressivo nato nel 1970 per iniziativa di Keith Emerson (pianoforte, organo e sintetizzatori), Greg Lake (basso, chitarre e voce) e Carl Palmer (batteria e percussioni). Il trio fu attivo dal 1970 al 1978, si riunì tra il 1991 e il 1998 e celebrò il proprio quarantennale con un solo concerto nel 2010. Emerson e Lake scomparvero entrambi nel 2016. Furono uno dei gruppi di rock progressivo di maggior successo commerciale durante gli anni 70, con nove album certificati disco d'oro negli Stati Uniti e una stima di oltre 35 milioni di dischi venduti in tutto il mondo. Essendo tutti e tre i musicisti già noti in precedenti formazioni, furono spesso definiti un "supergruppo".
